Blau Launches New Mobile Internet Tariff for Incidential Usage

With such a small amount of data volume the Blau tariff option 100-MB-Datenpaket is suited for notebook, netbook or smartphone users who access the internet via GPRS or UMTS occasionally. The E-Plus network offers GPRS and UMTS with data transmission rates of up to 384 kbps. Only in some places E-Plus has just begun to upgrade to HSDPA.
Blau already offers three other mobile internet tariff options to its prepaid price plan Einheitstarif: Available alternatives are a 1 GB data package that costs EUR 9.90. For a data flat over 30 days Blau charges EUR 19.80. And the day flat rate tariff Tages-Flatrates is available for EUR 2.40 over 24 hours. The standard price for data traffic is EUR 0.24 per megabyte.
With the Einheitstarif Blau customers can make domestic mobile phone calls to home phones and other mobile phones for EUR 0.09 per minute while sending an SMS message within Germany costs EUR 0.09. Checking voice mail is free of charge. The rates for international calls from Germany to countries such as Great Britain, Spain, Poland or the United States range between EUR 0.09 per minute plus a connecting charge of EUR 0.15 per call and EUR 0.29 per minute. Sending SMS to other countries Blau customers are charged EUR 0.13 per message.
The Blau Einheitstarif starter package of SIM card and EUR 5.00 calling credit is available at the Blau website for EUR 9.90.
