Samsung will launch two new dual SIM mobile phones in Europe in December which will probably also be available at German stores sooner or later. The touch screen dual SIM phone Samsung B5722 measures 104 x 54.9 x 14.4 millimeters and comes with a 2.8 inch screen with 320 x 240 pixels resolution and 262,144 colors. Both SIM cards inside the device can be used for phone calls, SMS or MMS messaging, email and mobile internet access via GPRS or EDGE without rebooting the phone. One of the two SIM cards can be used to make phone calls on GSM networks of 850, 900, 1,800 and 1,900 MHz, the second SIM card just in GSM networks of 900 and 1,800 MHz.

The Samsung B5722 comes with a modified version of the user interface TouchWiz Lite 1.0, which makes the phone touch-friendly and the parallel use of two SIM cards easier. Preinstalled are social networking clients such as Facebook and MySpace as well as an instant messenger. Other features of the Samsung B5722 include a 3-megapixel camera with LED flash function, a MP3 player and an FM radio, bluetooth, USB 2.0 and a memory card slot for microSD cards with a capacity of up to 8 GB.
