Expressmobil Offers Cheap Rates For Calls to German Home Phones

Cologne newspaper Kölner Express has launched a new prepaid price plan for mobile phone users which offers cheap rates for mobile phone calls to home phones in Germany. With the SIM card of Expressmobil, that’s how the new brand is called, users can make phone calls to home phones for 5 cents per minute and to other mobiles phones in Germany for 10 cents per minute. Expressmobil charges customers charges 10 cents for each SMS message sent within Germany. All mobile phone calls from Germany to other countries cost 99 cents per minute, all SMS messages sent to other countries cost 29 cents.

For using mobile data services via GPRS, EDGE or UMTS Expressmobil users pay 24 cents per megabyte billed in 100-kilobyte units. Surfing the mobile websites of the newspapers Kölner Express, Kölner Stadtanzeiger, Kölnische Rundschau and Frankfurter Rundschau is free of charge for Expressmobil users.

The prepaid starter package (SIM card for the network of operator E-Plus and 5 euros credit for free calls) is available at www.express-mobil.de for 7.99 euros. Expressmobil also offers price plan options such as a 30-day flat rate tariff for calls to German home phones and to other Expressmobil mobile phone users for 12.99 euros or an 1-gigabyte mobile data package for 9.99 euros.
