Mobile phone provider Klarmobil has launched a new postpaid price plan for cell phone users that comes without monthly charge and without long minimum term commitment. The cell phone plan “Freenet.de Mobiltarif” is available at www.freenetmobile.de/, the starter package (SIM card and credit of € 10.00) costs € 9.95. With this Klarmobil price plan, subscribers can call landlines and other cell phones in Germany for € 0.08 per minute and send text messages (SMS) within Germany for € 0.08 per message. International calls from Germany to other countries are quite expensive with the “Freenet.de Mobiltarif”. Subscribers pay € 0.99 per minute for mobile phone calls to European or North American countries and € 1.99 per minute for calls to any other country.

Subscribers of the “Freenet.de Mobiltarif” can visit the Freenet mobile web portal mobil.freenet.de without being charged for it. Accessing the internet via GPRS or UMTS over the network of O2 Germany and visiting any other homepage is quite cheap with the Klarmobil mobile data tariff: The provider charges only € 0.19 per megabyte. Subscribers can also book a flat rate tariff for € 9.95 for a period of 30 days. The flat rate tariff includes 500 MB of data volume for faster data transfers with EDGE, UMTS or HSPA speeds of up to 7.2 mbps (download).

In order to buy the starter package at the Freenet web store, new customers must indicate a residence and a banking account in Germany. The monthly bill will be paid by direct debit. The Klarmobil postpaid contract can be cancelled within 14 days to the end of the month.
