Low-Rate International Calls with Prepaid Price Plan Vodafone CallYa International

German operator Vodafone has launched a new prepaid price plan that offers low rates for mobile phone calls within Germany and for international calls from Germany to other countries. With the prepaid price plan “CallYa International” Vodafone customers can make mobile phone calls from Germany to 80 other countries for rates as low as € 0.04 per minute, for example, to Poland or China. Mobile phone calls to Turkey, Canada or the United States of America cost € 0.05 per minute. For mobile phone calls to Japan, Taiwan or India “CallYa International” subscribers are charged € 0.09 per minute.

The “Callya International” prepaid starter package including the SIM card and credit of € 11.99 is available at Vodafone stores or at www.vodafone.de for € 9.95. There is a monthly fee of € 1.99 for “CallYa International”. Vodafone customers already using a “CallYa” prepaid price plan can book “CallYa International” by dialing the five-digit code 22044.

For mobile phone calls within Germany, “CallYa International” subscribers pay € 0.05 per minute for calls to mobile phones on the mobile network of Vodafone and € 0.15 per minute for calls to home phone or other mobile phones. For sending text messages within Germany, “CallYa International” users are charged € 0.19 per SMS by Vodafone. For accessing the Internet over the mobile network of Vodafone via GPRS or UMTS “CallYa International ” users pay € 0.09 per minute.

    Sounds good. I’m from UK and I have a favourite provider of cheap international calls from UK to the rest of the world. But I travel often to Germany. May be “CallYa International” is going to be my favourite German price plan. regards

    I tried activating this on my new prepaid sim that I got in Germany, but it doesn’t seem to be accepting the option. Can you tell me what exactly to do after dialing 22044?

    I am sorry. With the information you have given here I cannot help you. What kind of prepaid SIM have you bought? Are you still in Germany? Have you activated your prepaid SIM card in Germany? Do you still have enough credit in your account? And so on …
