Cheap Mobile Data Plan over T-Mobile Network for Notebook Users by Discosurf
The UMTS surf stick of Discosurf called XSStick®W14 and manufactured by 4G Systems supports mobile data transmissions via UMTS and HSPA with up to 7.2 mbps (download) and up to 5.76 mbps (upload). It also supports GPRS and EDGE with data transfer speeds of up to 236 kbps. The UMTS surf stick can be used with any Windows XP or Windows Vista or Mac OS X 10.4.9 notebook. It also supports microSD cards with up to 4 GB storage capacity.
T-Mobile offers one of the most widely expanded mobile UMTS networks in Germany with data transmission rates of up to 7.2 mbps. However, notebook and netbook users with Discosurf price plan can only use maximum data transfer speeds for 5 GB of data volume per month. When having reached this limit, maximum data transmission rates are reduced to GPRS speed. Also, mobile data services such as instant messaging or voice over IP are not allowed with this mobile internet price plan.
When ordering the Discosurf mobile data plan, new customers have to provide a German address and have to pay via Paypal or direct debit. Discosurf is a brand of Eteleon GmbH which is party owned by mobile phone provider Drillisch. As with some other cell phone plans of this provider, users have to send back the SIM card when cancelling the Discosurf contract. Otherwise, the provider will charge EUR 29.65 “SIM card deposit”.
