Mobile Internet Price Plan Maxxim Data Now Available in T-Mobile Network
New price plan for mobile internet access via GPRS or UMTS, Maxxim Data, is now available in the mobile network of German operator T-Mobile instead of the Vodafone network. However, this does not impact the user costs: The postpaid price plan for notebook and netbook users still comes with a flat rate tariff for accessing the internet and with a short minimum term of one month. The monthly fee amounts to 19.95 euros for a period of up to two years, the set-up fee for Maxxim Data amounts to 24.95 euros. If needed new customers can also buy an UMTS surf stick for 49 euros.
Maxxim Data provides access to the internet via GPRS, EDGE, UMTS or HSPA in the network of operator T-Mobile with data transfer speeds of up to 7.2 mbps. Notebook or netbook users have an allotment of 5 GB data volume per month until the data download speed is reduced to 64 kbps. According to the general terms and conditions, it is not allowed to use services such as voice over IP or instant messaging with this mobile internet tariff.
