With a mobile phone that holds two SIM cards users can easily select between different SIM cards for personal and a private calls or for domestic and international calls. These are just two examples of how users of a dual SIM mobile phone can save money. However, most dual SIM phones in the German market are pretty expensive and – in comparison to other smartphones in the same price range – don’t live up to current standards. With the dual SIM mobile phone Mobistel EL350 Dual of manufacturer Elson there is such a device that is available at German web stores for purchase prices beginning at a little more than EUR 70.00. It provides anything necessary for making mobile phone calls and texting (SMS) over two different connections – but that’s about it.

The slider phone Elson Mobistel EL350 Dual can natively work with two SIM cards on networks around 900 and 1.800 MHz, both of which may be active at the same time. It measures 97.6 x 48 x17.5 millimeters in size, weighs 87 grams and sports a 1.8-inch screen with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels and 65,536 colors, a camera with VGA resolution, a media player for audio and video files, an FM radio and bluetooth. Battery life is up to five hours talk time or up to 240 hours stand-by.

Hi,

I have a problem with the phone. It is switching of while writing an sms or dialing. This can happen many times and then it works fine for some days again. I assume a poor contact at the sliding parts.
Any advise how to fix?
