The Motorola Milestone is powered by a Arm Cortex A8 processor with 550 MHz and Android 2.0 (Donut) and sports a 3.7-inch 16:9 WVGA touch screen display with 480 x 854 pixels and a full sliding QWERTZ keyboard. It supports quadband GSM as well as GPRS, EDGE, UMTS and HSPA for mobile data transmissions. Users of the Motorola Milestone can also access the internet via WiFi (IEEE 802.11b/g) at hotspots. The smartphone features a 5-megapixel camera with image stabilization and video capture mode with DVD quality of 20 x 480 pixels resolution at 24 frames per second and a music player with a 3.5-millimeter headset jack and bluetooth stereo sound (A2DP).
The Motorola Milestone also supports up to 32 GB microSD memory cards. Installed Google applications include Google Maps (with A-GPS), GMail, Google Talk, YouTube and Google Latitude. Motorola promises more than six hours of speaking time.
