Simsay Cuts Prices for Mobile Phone Calls to Home Phones in Berlin

Discount provider Simsay has cut the price per minute for mobile phone calls to home phones in Berlin. At least until the end of May, users of the prepaid SIM card of Simsay pay only EUR 0.019 per minute when calling a landline number beginning with the prefix 030 with their mobile. For mobile phone calls over the network of operator E-Plus to other home phones to other mobil phones in Germany or for checking voice mail Simsay still charges EUR 0.089 per minute, for calls between Simsay subscribers EUR 0.059 per minute. When sending SMS within Germany users of a Simsay prepaid SIM card pay EUR 0.089 or EUR 0.059 per message.

There is no monthly fee or minimum charge for this prepaid price plan. The prepaid starter package including the SIM card and calling credit of EUR 5.00 is available for EUR 9.95 at www.simsay.de. For accessing the internet via GPRS or UMTS Simsay prepaid customers are charged EUR 0.29 per megabyte.

Simsay subscribers can also make low rate calls from Germany to other countries. For international calls to landline phones in member states of the European Union, North America, China, India, Israel, Russia, Turkey or Vietnam Simsay charges EUR 0.089 per minute, for phone calls to mobile phones in these regions or countries it is EUR 0.29 per minute. Rates for roaming calls start at EUR 0.26 per minute plus a connection fee of EUR 0.19 per call.
