Simyo Launches New Community Flat Rate Option For Mobile Phone Users

No-frills provider Simyo offers a new flat rate option for mobile phone calls to other Simyo customers. Simyo charges users 3.90 euros for this community flat rate option for a 30-day period. Calls to other German mobile phones or home phones cost 9 cents per minute. For sending an SMS message Simyo customers pay 9 cents, as well. Accessing the internet via GPRS, EDGE or UMTS is charged with 24 cents per minute.

The prepaid starter package (SIM card and 3 euros credit for free calls) is available at www.simyo.de for 5.90 euros until October 20th. People who want to bring an existing mobile phone number with them can do this without any further costs and, in addition, receive a credit of 25 euros. Simyo offers cellular accounts in the mobile network of operator E-Plus.

There are tariff options Simyo customers can choose from when needed. A 30-day flat rate option for mobile phone calls to other Simyo users and to German home phones is available for a charge of 15 euros. A mobile internet tariff option with 1 GB data traffic for 30 days can be booked for 9.90 euros.

Mobile phone calls with the Simyo prepaid card to other countries are expensive, for mobile phone calls from Germany to Spain, Italy, the UK or the United States Simyo charges 1.84 euros per minute.
