E-Plus Offers Android Tablet Base Tab with Mobile Data Flat for € 19 per Month

German operator E-Plus (Base) will launch its own tablet Base Tab in mid-June. The device will be available with a mobile data flat rate tariff for € 19.00 per month over a two-year period. In terms of figures, the Base Tab will cost € 216.00 because the regular monthly fee for the “Base Internet Flat” for accessing the Internet via GPRS or UMTS/HSDPA over the mobile network of E-Plus amounts to € 10.00 per month.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v: Review on the Android Honeycomb Tablet

There are differences between the two tablets: While the Vodafone version Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v is 10.9 millimeters thick and features a 8.1-megapixel camera, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is slimmer (8.6 millimeter) and comes with a 3-megapixel camera. Android App Yuilop Offers Free SMS and Community Chats

The new messaging service Yuilop offers free SMS messages and community chats on Android smart-phones and Android tablets. A beta version of the application can now be downloaded from the Android Market for free. Once the app is installed on the Android smart-phone or tablet, it connects to the device’s address book and users can conduct Facebook chats or community chats with other users of the Yuilop app on their mobile. Further versions supporting other platforms such as Blackberry, Symbian, Windows Phone 7 and iOS will be coming soon, as well.

Short Overview of Telekom Products at CeBIT 2011

From the end of April, Telekom will be offering customers the tablet PC Motorola Xoom with Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) operating system for € 699.95. High-Flyer: HTC and Its Tablet HTC Flyer
