From the end of April, Telekom will be offering customers the tablet PC Motorola Xoom with Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) operating system for € 699.95. The version featuring UMTS mobile telecommunications technology for mobile data transmission will be available exclusively through Deutsche Telekom for 90 days. Together with Simfy, German operator Telefónica O2 Germany will launch a new music streaming service for users users of PCs, laptops, tablets or smart-phones. Customers will get access to a musical repertoire that includes more than eight million songs – from pop to indie, and metal to electro – when booking a flat rate tariff that costs € 8.99 per month. The new music service will be available in April, new users can try it for free for the first month.
