Short Overview of Telekom Products at CeBIT 2011

From the end of April, Telekom will be offering customers the tablet PC Motorola Xoom with Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) operating system for € 699.95. The version featuring UMTS mobile telecommunications technology for mobile data transmission will be available exclusively through Deutsche Telekom for 90 days. But the Motorola Xoom is only one of the products, Telekom is presenting visitors at this year’s CeBIT fair in Hanover. High-Flyer: HTC and Its Tablet HTC Flyer

How quickly the picture can change: Even though the smart-phone manufacturer HTC had limited the number of journalists attending the press conference at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, there was quite some scrimmage at the Theatre Lliure close to the trade show area. Everyone expected not only to see new smart-phones but also the first tablet of the manufacturer. The HTC Flyer was the star of the HTC presence at Mobile World Congress this week.

O2 Germany and Simfy Introduce Music Streaming Service for Flat Fee

Together with Simfy, German operator Telefónica O2 Germany will launch a new music streaming service for users users of PCs, laptops, tablets or smart-phones. Customers will get access to a musical repertoire that includes more than eight million songs – from pop to indie, and metal to electro – when booking a flat rate tariff that costs € 8.99 per month. The new music service will be available in April, new users can try it for free for the first month.

Tip: Prepaid Tariff for Mobile Internet Access in Spain

Tonight, the first mobile phone manufacturers will show their upcoming smart-phones at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Introducing the Low-Rate Pay As You Go Tariff Globus Mobile

Globus Mobile is one of the providers in Germany offering the lowest rates for mobile calls, texting (SMS) and mobile Internet access in Germany. With the pay as you go tariff of Globus Mobile customers can make mobile phone calls for € 0.07 per minute and text each other for € 0.10 per SMS. For accessing the Internet over the E-Plus network via GPRS or UMTS Globus Mobile customers are charged € 0.24 per megabyte.

O2 Germany Offers Flat Rate Tariff Internet-Pack Spezial for Laptop Surfing for € 15.00 per Month

German operator Telefónica O2 Germany has launched a new mobile data flat rate tariff for netbook and notebook users. The new flat rate tariff “Internet-pack Spezial” with a minimum term commitment of six months costs € 15.00 per month. The postpaid plan offers unlimited Internet access over the mobile network of Telefónica O2 Germany with 1 GB for faster data transfers.
